Now that everyone knows we are expecting a baby, people are getting antsy for a baby shower. Well, don't fear baby shower enthusiasts! Many kind people have alreay volunteered to throw a shower, so here's the breakdown. My Landis family shower will be thrown by my cousin Beth Rush at the home of her mother Alice Rush in Quakertown, PA at 1:30 on Sept 8. My Schmidt family shower will be thrown by my sister-in-laws Cori and Melissa Schmidt. It was supposed to be at Old Man Rafferty's here in New Brunswick Sept 29th, but I just checked and there is a Rutgers football game that day. So maybe we will switch the date or location...or alternatively just have a tailgate baby shower in the stadium lot ;-) We'll have to figure that out soon... Then, a friends shower will be thrown by my friend David some Friday evening in Sept, date to be determined. Its going to be a hot-tub margarita party, per my request. I've been pestering David to come over and use his hot tub since he got it this spring. Hey, I'm not pregnant, so I may as well make the most of it!! We registered at Target and Buy Buy Baby. Invites will be mailed out in August and more info will be posted on the blog as the dates draw nearer.
