Our adoption coordinator emailed us today to say our paperwork is moving along in Vietnam (this is separate from the US CIS approval that we are waiting for). They should soon be ready to issue our final letter of approval and set our travel date. According to the adoption process spreadsheet we have, final approval from the US CIS is NOT required for Vietnam to set the travel date. As I mentioned before, the US CIS I-600 used to be submitted and approved while you were over in Vietnam. So hopefully this information is still accurate. Just hearing any news makes me so happy! This morning, I was emailing back and forth with the two other mothers in our travel group about how we are going crazy waiting to hear some news. We will each be sending a soft baby photo album to the orphanage so that our kids can see photos of us before we arrive. So tonight I have to go buy the album and decide on which photos I want to include. Hmmmm, in which photo do I look most motherly? I will be sure to include a Bruno pic as well.
In other news, on Sunday I packaged up all the infant clothes and gear we received and sent them to my pregnant cousin. To cheer me up after this sad event, I shopped for some clothing for Gianna buying a swimsuit, PJ's, two sets of shirts and shorts, and two dresses. We will buy a lot of clothes for her when we are in Vietnam, since it is dirt cheap and we can make sure it all fits.

Its really hard to find photos of me where I'm not goofing off, making faces, wearing inappropriate clothing, or otherwise being offensive. Its equally as hard to find photos of Dan without a hat!
I'd offer to let you use the one from my phone, but in that one you're wearing a hat *and* making a funny face...
Hey - consider getting an SPF shirt. For the apres pool party... and to avoid sunburn (ahem. Don't ask me how I know). Oh and swim diapers (maybe you can get them overseas, too??).
Bring her a doll! Or something cute and comforting! A little Buno doll?
The album is fabulous. Include a picture of your house so she will know that she is going to live there! Exciting!!!
