Bug video

No recent adoption news to report and I am getting a little depressed. Both showers are on. We have over 30 RSVP's for the friends shower at David's house Sept 29 (don't forget your swim suit for the hot tub!). The family shower on October 13 is also getting a fairly good response. If you want to get the baby a gift and see the registries are nearly "sold out", we still need toys, bibs, booties, baby Einstein, other miscellaneous crap, uh, I mean baby gear.

One more piece of news. Thanks to a co-worker's intervention, my bosses had a change of heart and decided to renew my contract. This has been a very difficult time for me, searching for a new job to satisfy adoption requirements. Unless some fantastic offer comes through soon, my plan is to stay at Rutgers until the baby arrives. Then I will take maternity leave (and keep my benefits!!).
