I am at a conference in Chicago this week (blogging from the seminar room). Yesterday, Dan forwarded an email to me that some other families received their referrals yesterday. So, it does not look likely that we will get our referral this month :-( I was pretty disappointed. Not only did we not get our referral, but I'm also at this lousy conference and can't complain to Dan in person and whine that we are never going to get our baby! Hopefully next month.

I could say lots of things like "Never say never," "Good things come to those who wait," or "All things happen for a reason" but I know that none of these cliches will make you feel better! I am sure that things will work out for you, Dan, and your new child soon! Now, I am NOT one to talk about having patience, so I understand not wanting to wait any longer, but when you do get the baby we all will be SO happy for you!
