Yesterday Dan drove a document, yes one document, out to Harrisburg, PA to be certified. Now the document is in transit to a courier that will take it (for a mere $50) to the Embassy of Vietnam in Washington, DC. For $70, the Embassy will authenticate this document using their expedited service, which takes 2 weeks. Last time I paid for expedited service and it took 3 weeks, plus one of the documents was eaten by their photocopier.
I'm also starting to get concerned about our fingerprinting. I sent a letter weeks ago requesting an extension, but so far have not received an answer.

Fingers and toes crossed! And yes, I did realize our girls would be just about the same age. I do hope your daughter is less opinionated than ours!!! :)
