Winter orchid show

This weekend we visited Longwood Garden's winter orchid extravaganza. I thought this was the weekend of the orchid show, but its not until the end of the month. Oops. Their website is rather misleading. The torrential rain and lack of an orchid show kept the crowds away so it was a very enjoyable day. The spring bulbs were just popping out of the ground. The crocus and snowdrops were blooming as were the Hamamelis. My tulips at home are also popping up, so I had to fortify my tulip cage against the deer before its too late. Well, enjoy the photos.
