Its Thursday, almost the end of my first week of work at L'Oreal as a chemist in the skincare lab. The people I work with are really friendly and my boss is very reasonable (especially compared to my old boss). They have assigned me to the Skinceuticals product lines, which are dermatologist-recommended and contain botanical extracts. Today a coworker showed me the ropes as we made a Kiehl's skin cream. Tomorrow I will attempt to make a Skinceuticals acne cream. Tomorrow is also International Day, so we are all supposed to bring in a dish from our native country. Too bad German food is kinda lousy in my opinion. I'll probably bring beer brats with sauerkraut.
I already went shopping at the company store, and we basically get free samples of whatever skincare products made by L'Oreal. So if you live in NJ and want some products, send me a list.

We have to live in NJ to get samples? =( Just kidding! I am glad that the job is going well! It sounds like so much more fun than hearing about cancer incidence rates and deaths!
Well, I GUESS Maryland people can also get samples ;-) I propose a fair trade of Maryland crabs for L'Oreal products! People in other states will have to come up with their own creative bartering tool.
