Frustration

Mai's re-advertisement period is over, but getting information out of our agency can be difficult. Sometimes they have to ask their contact in Vietnam, wait for a reply, then get back to us. If they are busy with other things, the ball often gets dropped. I sent a third email asking for a status update this afternoon. Are they ready to move forward now? Can they submit the I-600 application? Who knows. Gaaa! Like the post title says, frustrating. I suppose badgering them about it won't make anything go faster, but not knowing always makes us fear the worst.

More garden news, I went outside this afternoon to discover the tomatoes had reached the bottom rung of their cages and many are flowering. There were also a handful of strawberries to be picked. I discovered the berries from potted plants are a lot less sweet than the plants in soil...scientifically interesting.
