Instead of getting good news for Dan's birthday, we got bad news. The government office that is handling our paperwork moved to a different building around 2 weeks ago and still does not have their computer system up and running. So we have been waiting in anticipation these past few weeks while there was no chance they would complete anything. They claim its a possibility they will get to it this week, but I am not optimistic. Also, there seems to be another level of bureaucracy added to the list. Now we have to wait for ANOTHER bureaucrat to stamp our dossier before we can make travel plans. So I've moved my travel estimations well past Labor Day. They sent us this photo of Gianna as a consolation prize. Consolation photos from Dan's 30th birthday will be posted later this week.

This is so sad! Why don't they want to get her into a good home ASAP?!?! Well, we have spent the past 2 years with you and Dan for Labor Day, and honestly, we were kind of hoping that you would be out of the country this year! But we would love to spend a 3rd Labor Day in a row with you both!
