Hanoi travel

No travel date this week--booo! Monday is Dan's birthday, so if we find out then, it will be a great birthday gift. In today's The USA Today there's an article about travel to Hanoi. Make sure to click on their photo gallery link. Besides meeting our daughter for the first time, the 10 things I am most looking forward to about the trip include:

1. Halong Bay
2. Hoa Lo Prison, AKA Hanoi Hilton where John McCain was imprisoned
3. Hoan Kiem Lake
4. The Red River
5. Numerous pagodas and temples
6. Old Quarter
7. Bia hoi, a locally brewed fresh beer for about $0.20 a glass
8. Snake wine, AKA ruou ran (looking forward to watching DAN drink this!)
9. Pho and other local food
10. Riding a motorbike and/or rickshaw
