This weekend we were in Ocean City and Brigantine NJ visiting family and friends. Bruno got to go to a dog beach much to his delight. He enjoys going into the surf until it touches his belly, then he heads back to shore. His other favorite beach activities include eating sand, eating shells, chasing sea gulls, and biting at flies.

Hopefully by posting that we still don't have our travel date, we will get the travel date tomorrow. Its been 2 weeks since I-600 approval and 1 week since the Hanoi police turned over our dossier. So I don't know if they are all on holiday or what is going on, but we just have to be patient, it won't be long now. In preparation for travel, people in our adoption group have been planning which sights they are going to see in Vietnam. Halong Bay is supposed to be as spectacular as the Grand Canyon and is about 3 hours from Hanoi. There is a tour company offering day trips and overnight trips. At the very least we can take the day trip which gives you great views of the bay. But spending a night on a boat in the bay is supposed to be an awesome experience. We'll see what Gianna is feeling up to!
