Santa comes to Culver St.

Just like every year, Santa and his fire fighter brigade came to Culver St. Its pretty funny, the same scenario every year. First, a firetruck parks in front of our house, lights flashing, siren blaring. The siren stops and Christmas music starts blaring instead. A guy on a bull horn in his most authoritative voice says "Attention: Santa Claus is coming to Culver St. Children, come out now to see Santa. Attention: Santa will be here soon. Children, come outside to see Santa". Then a few minutes later, about 4 more firetrucks and paramedic trucks come down the road, lights flashing, Christmas music blaring. One paramedic truck pulls a trailer with Santa and his wooden reindeer. The first firetruck pulls ahead a few blocks to let the people down the street know Santa is coming. It was fun to see all the children come out with their parents, and to hear the screams of terror as some of the younger ones were put on Santa's lap. This photo is not that good, but shows our festively lit tree and snowy lawn as Santa's sleigh drives past.
