Holiday Party

Since Thanksgiving, I've been neglecting my blogging duties. I've been under a lot of stress about a situation I can't talk about (hence the no blogging). But everything will be revealed sometime in the coming weeks. To catch up, on Thanksgiving day, we went to Dan's aunt Terry's house. His cousin Christy's baby has to be about the cutest little pudge I've ever seen.

We brought along an international student from Pakistan to experience a little bit of American culture (and to expose Dan's family to a little bit of non-white culture in prepareation for having a little Vietnamese kid running around at Thanksgiving next year). He actually knew a lot about football and fit right in. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we met up with my BFF's Grace and Kirstie (and her husband Dave) in Philly for some sightseeing. We went to the Mutter museum--awesome! Plus we did the Reading Terminal Market, shopping on Walnut, and dinner in Chinatown at a nice hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant.

On Thursday night was Dan's company's Holiday party. They had it at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The food was great, which was good news for Adam and Kim, who are using the same caterers for their wedding next year. Here are some photos of the gala event...well not quite as gala as the year they had it at the Ritz Carlton, but fancier than Rutgers holiday party which will be pot-luck in the conference room downstairs >:-(
