Yay, 31 and happy to still be alive :-) My 31st birthday was on Sunday and I am alive and well, just wishing we could go to Vietnam NOW to bring our daughter home. Last week I sent the baby photo album off to our coordinator in Vietnam. In the process, I ended up with two Gianna bobble-heads that are staring at me from my computer at work. Hanging them up might have been a bad idea. Every time I see my computer screen I think of her saying "Mommy, when are you coming to pick me up?"
This weekend we spend in Richmond, VA with my brother Jeff and his wife Nancy. On July 4th, we got to hang out with Illinois friend Marcela who also just moved to Richmond. Her father was in town, so I was treated to a duet of Feliz cumpleaños in addition to the standard Happy Birthday serenade. It was a nice weekend of food, friends, and fireworks. Here are some pics.
