At least three weeks

We have news from Vietnam, but I will not trust the reliability without evidence, especially since its 4th hand information. Hang talked to people at POJ today, who talked with people at PPC. It sounds like PPC should be handing over our paperwork this week (fingers crossed). Ordinarily we would be able to travel right away. But this ridiculously slow process will be drawn out even further since Hang, our adoption coordinator, and some guy at the POJ that is in charge of the G&R ceremonies will all be on vacation come October. So the earliest we could possibly travel is Oct 18th.

I caught this box turtle on my walk with Bruno this afternoon. After I set it down in the backyard and grabbed the camera it took about 20 minutes for it to slowly emerge from its shell. We have waited 2 years for Gianna, I can wait 20 mins for my apropos picture of a turtle running away in slow motion. I set him free out of Bruno's territory but now think maybe I should return him to the ditch I pulled him out of in case there is a spouse waiting at home.
