Tropical storm Hanna kept us indoors yesterday, so I started getting organized for the trip. First, the gifts. We have to give gifts to over 40 people at the orphanage and a half dozen other officials at POJ and POLISA. Everyone is getting L'Oreal goods including the men. I'm also donating a bag full of diaper cream, bar soap, and kids shampoo.
It would be nice to donate truckloads more, but we can only bring so much in 3 suitcases. Today I treated some of the clothes we are taking on the trip with permethrin to repel mosquitoes.
It lasts through several washes, so its best just to treat the clothes before you travel. We also took advantage of the nice weather today to see some killer waves churned up by Hanna.
Since its the off-season, Bruno could come along and enjoy the day at the beach. Here he is eating a mussel.
